“I would like to express our sincere thanks to Astra for delivering such an engaging and thought-provoking poetry workshop. The pupils gained a great deal from working with a professional poet. Her session helped them to see poetry as a dynamic and accessible form of expression, while also building their confidence to experiment with language, imagery and ideas. Many pupils were encouraged to take creative risks, articulate their own thoughts and experiences, and develop a stronger sense of voice. The impact of the workshop has been evident in their enthusiasm and confidence since the session.”
